Prefer a bit of texture and a softer profile? The Amy Matt Anthracite Grey 600mm Floor Standing Two Door Unit and Basin (£229) gives you an integrated basin over a floor-standing base, with two soft-close doors hiding everything underneath. It is a tactile, understated finish that suits en-suites and guest washrooms as well as main bathrooms.

Hide the pipework, keep the look

Nobody enjoys looking at a soil pipe. A back-to-wall WC unit boxes in the cistern and plumbing and gives you a coordinating shelf, and both our main ranges have a matching one. A quick honest note

One thing to flag: at the moment our anthracite furniture is vanities, basin units, WC units and combination sets. We do not currently stock tall storage or mirror cabinets in anthracite, so if you want those they will come in a different finish. Is anthracite a good colour for a small bathroom?

Yes, more often than people expect. A darker unit like the 500mm Empire reads as designed rather than bare, and matt anthracite hides watermarks and fingerprints far better than white gloss.
