All About Showers

When choosing what type of shower for your new bathroom can be a little daunting with so many choices. generally, most people have a combi boiler installed in their house, therefore, you would choose a high-pressure shower with an overhead rain shower & hand held shower where the water can be diverted between the two via the valve these are a great option if you don’t want to use the rain head to get your hair wet you can adjust the height of the smaller head or remove it from its holder.

Exposed and Concealed Showers

Most customers choose an exposed valve as these are the preferred choice for your installers because they are more straightforward to install and also afterwards much more manageable to service the other option is a concealed shower these have a brass body that requires a plasterboard wall or space within your wall of 70 – 110mm to accommodate the brass body of the valve concealed showers can be a great option because on many occasions you can choose where to position your valves heads & handsets many people opt for ceiling mounted heads instead of wall arms the concealed valves you can have up to 4 outlets on many of these valves but the more popular models usually come with 1 or 2 outlets which use a rain head & handset or fixed riser rail. before choosing a concealed shower i would recommend speaking to your installers first
